Bristol Community Health is committed to providing a website that is accessible and easy to use for the widest range of visitors possible, regardless of disability or impairment. We believe that this is an ongoing process and are constantly seeking to improve in this area.
The site has been designed to adhere to best practice by following W3C standards. There are a number of additional steps we have taken to address accessibility needs that are detailed below:
Fonts: text size can be increased or decreased in your browser by clicking on one of the three As at the top of right hand side of the website, in the dark grey bar.
Easy Web: to visit our Easy Read section of our website for people with learning disabilities, click here
High contrast: we have produced a high contrast version of our website for people with visual impairments. This can be activated by clicking on the high contrast tab at the top right hand side of the website, in the dark grey bar.
Information in different languages: we have produced a number of patient videos for people with diabetes, in different community languages. Over time we aim to increase the amount of resources that we have available in this area.
We welcome feedback about our website, please contact us to let us know your suggestions and thoughts.
