We’re proud to share our new business plan, which sets out our organisation’s top level priorities for our coming financial year (September 2016 to October 2017). The plan reflects on our achievements over the past 12 months and outlines our new goals for the year ahead.
Delivering for our Communities emphasises the importance of working efficiently and investing wisely to give the best possible care to our patients, their carers and their families. Partnership working is a key part of this: 2016 saw our offender health service, InspireBetterHealth, begin in earnest and we’re looking forward to embedding and developing the support we provide. In addition to providing an interim year of children’s community healthcare, we’ve also been busy preparing a partnership-led bid for the long-term contract to deliver the Community Children’s Health Partnership across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
Delivering for our Communities also sets expectations for how we support our internal community of staff and clinicians. We truly mean it when we say our staff are our greatest asset, which is why this year’s plan focuses on ‘creating the company we want to work for’. Like the plan itself, we hope that staff will continue to shape the future direction of our organisation.
As we approach our fifth birthday in October, we’re excited for what the year ahead will bring. There will of course be challenges. But, with your continued feedback and support, we can make sure we build an organisation that our communities can be proud of.
