Health event for deaf, hard of hearing and deaf blind residents

Are you D/deaf, deafened, hard of hearing or deaf blind? Do you want the opportunity to feedback your views on health services in Bristol?

On April 27, Healthwatch Bristol and Healthwatch South Gloucestershire are holding a health and social care workshop for people who are deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and deaf blind.

The event will include:

  • Focus groups discussing issues including access to health and social care services and the availability of interpreters.
  • Market stands
  • Information about the NHS Accessible Information Standard
  • Information about the Bristol Deaf Health Charter

Please note: communication support for the session will be provided. This includes interpreters for Deafblind people.
