Nurses’ Day 2017: celebrating our #nurseheroes

12 May 2017 Written by Nicola Rodgers

A very happy International Nurses’ Day to all of our staff and patients!

Every 12 May – the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth – we celebrate the work of nurses everywhere.

Bristol Community Health’s nursing staff contribute to the organisation in so many ways. They work in a huge variety of environments – visiting homes, health centres, prisons, hospitals, and even schools. And they help everyone, from the very young to the very old.

“You have an endless pool of compassion to share with your patients… this is something that’s so valuable and means that you touch the lives of people every day.”

We’re incredibly proud of the work our nursing teams do. Join us on Twitter and Facebook throughout the day where we’ll be sharing the stories and photos from our #nurseheroes.

You can also follow the action on our Flickr account, or check back here for more updates.
