We have just published our Quality Account 2017-18, which takes a look at the work we’ve done over the last year in our priority areas, including improving the outcomes of patients with sepsis and better supporting patients coming to the end of their life. It also highlights our work in key areas like patient safety, clinical effectiveness and safeguarding.
The Quality Account also maps out some of our priorities for the year ahead. These include some innovative projects aiming to empower patients to take more of an active role in managing their health and making lifestyle changes, whether it’s through our integrated community clinics and patient activation measure, or the ‘make every contact count’ and patient leadership programmes.
