Have you ever considered a career in Rapid Response?

Meet the team at our Open Day on the 18 June

On 18  June,  our Rapid Response North Team based in Henbury are opening their doors to anyone who is interested in working as a Rapid Response Nurse or a Rapid Response Physiotherapist. Our open day will give you an opportunity to meet our Nurses, Physiotherapists and clinical management team, learning first-hand about Rapid Response nursing and what working in any of the Rapid Response teams is really like.

The open day will run from 10:00 – 13:00 and is based at the North Bristol Intermediate Care Centre. The day will run as an open ‘drop in’ event so where you can come along and look around the base and meet the team at any time throughout the open day.

In order to attend this open day all you will need to do is to complete the Open Day Registration Form.

Following on from the open day,  interested candidates will be encouraged to complete an application form for one of our many Band 5 Nursing vacancies throughout the city or Band 6 Physiotherapy post available in North Bristol.

More about the Rapid Response team

Rapid Response are a multi-professional team which consists of Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Support Workers and Advanced Nurse Practitioners. Rapid Response are a dynamic, forward thinking team with a strong emphasis on teaching and development.

Their remit is to reduce hospital admissions by caring for people who have become clinically unwell at home and who historically would have been admitted to hospital. They also work closely with secondary care with facilitating early discharge. Their pace is fast moving and their clinical caseload is diverse and variable.
