This October, we are holding our first Participation Community event; an opportunity for patients, the public, carers and voluntary sector organisations to come together and hear about our achievements within patient and public empowerment.
Share experiences that you have had within the health service so we can understand more about what is important to you.
Generate ideas on how to engage and empower patients even more, to ensure that we are reflecting your needs in our services.
Develop your knowledge of our strategy, and how we have delivered on some of our key objectives over the past 12 months.
The event starts at 10:30am; registration opens an hour before to allow you time to take a look at the stalls we have on offer and get a free health check. There will also be a free lunch between the presentations and workshops.
How patients engage with the services they receive is central to what we do, providing the mechanism to make their feedback affect real change in the experiences they have. We are proud to have been asked to be involved in this first Participation Community Event and will continue to work with Bristol Community Health to support their work in the community.

We are also pleased to welcome Optimum as our sponsor for this event. Optimum provide the technology for us to collect feedback from our patients in ‘real-time’.
