We sign the Armed Forces Community Covenant

We are really pleased to announce that we are a signatory of the Armed Forces Community Covenant.

On 23 June 2014, our Chief Executive Julia Clarke became a signatory on behalf of Bristol Community Health of the Armed Forces Community Covenant.

The covenant, organised by Bristol City Council, shows our commitment to make sure serving personnel, reservists, veterans and their families are given the support they need to help them live and fully participate in their local community. It recognises that for some, the transition to civilian life can be hard after having a military career.

Other signatories of the covenant include UHBristol and NBT.

Julia Clarke said, "I am so pleased to be able to support our armed forces in this way. By signing the Armed Forces Community Covenant, we are showing our commitment as an organisation to support our military and ex-military personnel to ensure that they are treated with fairness and respect when they need it most."
