What does this service do?
Bristol Community Health has devised a programme of training sessions aimed at sharing clinical best practice among staff from different homes and at increasing their professional knowledge and skills, ultimately improving quality of care for residents in care homes with nursing across Bristol.
The Care Homes with Nursing training service aims to:
- Develop and maintain tailored training programmes
- Provide support to homes where training needs have been identified
- Deliver or coordinate training where it is needed
- Co-ordinate resources and training provided by others to Care Homes with Nursing
- Increase awareness of Bristol Community Health Services available to Care Homes with Nursing
- Give Care Homes with Nursing the opportunity to network and share best practice

You must work at a Care Home with Nursing whose residents are registered with Bristol CCG area GP surgeries.
