What does this service offer?

Our service offers patients the chance to be seen by one of our experienced Extended Scope Physiotherapists, Podiatrists or specialist GPs who will listen, assess and provide treatment and advice on how to manage pain and determine the best course of care.

Some patients may be offered a steroid injection or will be referred for Ultrasound (USS)/ MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) or X Ray to gain further information on the problem.

At Hampton House the MATS service provide an Ultrasound Clinic, where patients can be injected under guided ultrasound. This service is led by our consultant physiotherapist. Patients may be referred to a hospital for a surgical opinion.
