Safeguarding Children

Bristol Community Heath is committed to promoting the welfare of children (unborn to 18 years old) and protecting them from harm; we do this within our safeguarding children team. As an organisation we have a number of things in place to support us with this -these are explained in our Safeguarding Children Declaration.

Our approach to safeguarding children

We know that disability or periods of illness can put extra stress on a family and may they need additional support sometimes. Our staff will routinely ask you some questions about your children and discuss any additional needs your children may have. We work in partnership with other agencies to get the right level of help for families. We will only share confidential information with your consent or if we have a duty to do so because of concerns about the safety of a child.
