What is the Bank?
Our Bank is an in-house service used by our clinical teams if they require additional support on an ad-hoc and flexible basis. This could be for a range of different roles and in a variety of different teams – each role will cover a short period of time while a team is recruiting into a new or existing post or to cover staff shortages.

What are the benefits?
Our Bank offers you flexibility to work when it suits you, so is perfect if you have other priorities that your work life needs to fit around. It is also great if you are looking to try lots of different things and build a range of skills. You may be a nurse based in a hospital who is looking for community experience or experience in other services such as within prisons. Whatever it is you are looking for, joining the Bank is a great way to get a taste of community healthcare with Bristol Community Health.

You will receive full training and induction, as well as being paid the same rate as our regular staff. You will also be paid an enhancement on top of your monthly pay.

What kind of roles are on offer?

Within our Bank, we regularly offer roles such as:

• Community Nursing
• Healthcare Assistants/Assistant Practitioners
• Prison Healthcare Staff
• Administration

We can also offer shifts for more specialised roles such as a Speech & Language Therapist or a Physiotherapist. Although these types of roles do not come up as often we would still be interested in hearing from you.
